Project Description

The I-10 Rehabilitation project is located from 1.9 miles east of Cactus Rest Area to 0.4 miles east of SR-177 in Riverside County. This pavement rehabilitation project spans over 31 miles of I-10 and consists of approximately 750,000 tons of HMA/RHMA reconstruction and restoration. The project replaced HMA that was beyond its life cycle with the benefit of extending pavement service life with minimal maintenance.

Our Role

Sequoia provided comprehensive construction inspection and materials testing services to the General Contractor, Granite Construction. The scope includes roadway inspection, field and laboratory sampling and testing of all roadway materials, including 750,00 tons of HMA and RHMA.
